This company one floor above ours invited us to have a little get to know each other party. Their office was amazing!! They had a ping pong table, foosball, and beer. That is pretty much how I would design my fake company.

Tonight I was saw a private show with brandi carlile and her band. They are a group of really cool kids from seattle and it kinda made me want to move there even more. I feel like I would really enjoy myself in the pacific northwest. Anywho, they sound great live and the cd is pretty sweet too. Check it out sometime.

So for 2007, I made a really long list of resolutions with the overall theme to find more balance in my life. The first couple things I need to figure out are my living situation and my work because both end by march 1st!! So im not sure if I want to stay in new york or go to chicago or stay in production or go on a vacation or go back to school. Ha I guess I am a scatterbrain. My friend I met for coffee today gave this shirt for xmas

So you will never guess who came into my office today.... That's right. MR BELDING! Id like to say im pretty good at acting cool around actors but this one threw me off guard. He walked by and said "hey how you doing?" I pretty much just stared at him. That was the highlight of my day.

So today I found some great videos about my name on youtube....

1. This past summer I worked at lollapalooza which ended up being a pretty sweet deal. After I finished working, I got to see a bunch of great bands for free! Anyways, my favorite part of the weekend was the red hot chili peppers especially when John Frusciante played a solo of Simon and Garfunkel's song "For Emily." It was sooo pretty. So I found a copy of the one in chicago but the quality wasn't that great so here is him singing it in Milan:

2. This one I haven't seen this since I was a little. It's a short from Nickelodeon Pinwheel that was on in the early 80s about a little british girl who went on adventures with her hedgehog. This video is part of the reason why my mom wanted to name me Emily.

I just wanted to write a post dedicated to the newest member of our family, ACE! My sister, Erin, just recently adopted a bulldog from the Northern Illinois Bulldog Rescue League. They found him on the southside of Chicago where he suffered from health issues and neglect but now Erin is treating him like a king. Here is a picture of the monster:

I started working in tv production because the idea of sitting at a desk all day kinda scares me. And unfortunately for the next two months, I am going to be working a lot in the office so this is why I'm going to start this journal (and the fact that I think everyone is getting sick of me sending them pointless emails in hopes that someone will respond).
